You may have read the article we just posted about online doll classes, and since so many of you are showing interest in the painted dolls’ eyes these days rather than the set in ones, I thought you might be interested in knowing that Connie Zink will be doing a class on “In-Depth Modern Eye Painting” online starting January 10, 2010. The doll she will be using is the 19” April doll by Expressions. She has prepared a CD Tutorial for her students in this class to use in conjunction with the eight online class sessions.

Yes, I know it seems a bit early if the class doesn’t start until the 10th of January, but there’s a good deal of preparation involved on Connie’s part. Even though the class will be limited to twenty five students, the pouring and soft firing of the greenware takes time, then there’s shipping time, etc to consider and many more details involved, so get your name in the pot as quickly as possible. As you know, Connie is a marvelously talented doll maker and you can expect to learn a lot from this class and have fun doing it. And please send in pictures for us to post when you get your dolls done!

i have taken this class in ohio, and it was a lot of fun, i havn’t been doing a lot of dolls lately, going to smaller dolls 19′and lower to hard to handle big molds! love dianas dolls! i would like to take this class over again as it has been a long while, are you going to do the small dolls?
