Hey… Washington, I need some help here

by Karen Ryan on 06/03/2009

The next Crossroads Doll & Teddy Bear Show will be in Puyallup June 27-28 and I would like to be able to put out a list of Porcelain Doll Classes in Washington to help potential students find you.  I mean, if I can’t find any more of you then I have after almost six months of searching, what chance do they have?  So you gotta help me out here.  These are the only classes that I am aware of, but I’m willing to bet there are a bunch more out there somewhere, so if you teach a class or know someone who does and they aren’t on the list, please let me know before the show so they can be added. IT’S FREE ADVERTISING FOR YOU!  Leave the information in the comments box below this article.  Thanks.

I hate to tell you this, but Jean Nordquist is no longer in Sequim. She has moved to Spokane and I’m not sure if she is still teaching classes. She is such an awesome teacher and I consider her my mentor. I miss her. She does come to the Pyallup Doll show.

Hi Sharon,
I think I corrected the information in the Directory, but will take another look. I hope she is still teaching. We need every single teacher with her kind of experience. She has had such a big influance on the doll community.

Hi Terri,
Nice to hear from you. I’m not sure who you meant isn’t teaching anymore unless it’s Jean Nordquist. I already removed her from the Directory but the list in this article was written before that. Thanks so much for the information. I’ve added you and Lois to the Directory as well.
