I have always loved dolls, and have been involved with making porcelain dolls and sculpting as well. My love for antique dolls, however, is more recent. 4 years ago I made a 42″ porcelain doll for my sister’s 60th birthday. I made her up as Scarlet in Gone With the Wind. She needed shoes, after shopping around, I just didn’t see what I envisioned her footwear should be. I researched some shoe making books and found the perfect boots. I ordered some leather and went to work. Three pairs later, I had the perfect little boots. I showed them to a friend who is an antique doll collector and she bought the other boots, and told all her doll friends. The orders started coming in and I found I enjoy making them so very much.

I try and use only vintage leathers, I love the patina and I love the fact I am recycling leather. I have various colors of leather, and my inventory does change frequently, so some shades of color may differ. When ordering shoes or boots from me, I will need the size dimensions of your dollies feet. I want you to have the best fit possible. At present I am able to make up your shoes or boots and get them to you within 3 weeks. If you need multiple pairs for reproduction dolls you are making, sending me a sample of the dolls foot will ensure a perfect fit.  I will return the foot to you. I make many styles of shoes and boots, purses, sac du voyages and can customize them with scraps of fabric from your dolls dress.  Thank you Doll Friends!
