Not much of a surprise since there didn’t seem to be anything new added for a very long time, and the only activity we’ve seen has been sales to unload stock, but Doll Artworks finally called it a day and sold out to Bountiful Baby, which it seems concentrated on Reborns up to now. Bountiful Baby has just announced that they have acquired all assets of The Doll Artworks, including almost two hundreds sculpts by Donna and Kelly RuBert and a large number of their patterns.
Evidently Bountiful Baby is planning to reproduce as much of these sculpts as they can in a variety of sizes and mediums, and are planning on having Donna RuBert, winner of the Doty and the Dolls Of Excellence award, sculpt new dolls for them as well. We’re glad to hear that Donna is still going to be producing new faces for us! No mention was made of Kelly’s plans for the future.
It’s going to take some time for Bountiful Baby to get their site reorganized to include the Doll Artworks inventory, but it will happen. For now anyone needing pictures of their dolls may find what they need on their site. You’ll find Bountiful Baby at http://www.bountifulbaby.com.

I’m sorry to hear about doll art works closing there doors. I’ve bought
a lot of there molds. and was looking for there webite for a long time now and I ran into this web, please let me know soon if I can get the Ruburts molds soon.
