What fun! Another doll show to look forward to for next year! And if it’s anything like this first one, it’ll be well worth the wait!
The show took place in an old Safeway building in Lebanon, and was even better attended then we could have wished for. There were about 200 visitors who came to see what all the fuss was about, and many of whom stayed to visit and shop. There were forty four tables of doll related items to catch and hold their interest, and most of us did really well. Definitely not a bad turn out for a first time affair!
We had met many of these same vendors at the Rickreall doll show about a month earlier, and it was nice to see them again. There’s always such a atmosphere of fun when this group gets together! And there were some folks who were new to us as well, but they weren’t strangers for long. And the shoppers were all new to us, but they were as light hearted and excited about the event as the rest of us, and many asked if we’d come back again. As it turned out, the date for the doll show had been chosen to coordinate with the open house that many of the shops in town had planned, which added to the excitement, and of course, to the number of folks who stopped in that were first timers at a doll show. All in all, there was almost a carnival atmosphere that made everyone feel embraced by the whole community.
We already have our names in the pot for booths for next year, as do many of the others who took part in this show, and the management was talking about having to open another room to make room for more. Good Job everyone!

I wish I could help you with that information but I don’t have it. I expect it will be in November, but haven’t heard anything yet.
